As a further introduction to the unit's main topic, you are invited to read an article that provides a multimodal example in the comic format. As a literary genre, comics within digital culture are experiencing a period of transformation and evolution (as Unit II later proves). It is thus not by chance that Aaron Scott Humphrey used the very same format to test ways of communication that go beyond usual text-articles.
