3.1. e-spect@tor presentation
Extracting and filling datas
This double feature is oriented towards scientific research in Performing Arts in the framework of Digital Humanities. Indeed, e-spect@tor allows the user to:
- Enrich your video document with archival metadata.
As a live show video is one of the traces of the performative work genesis, which is a constant work-in-progress (a live show is different each time it is performed), the live show video constitutes an archive of the performative work. For this reason, it has to be indexed with metadata from archival standards, which are, in the e-spect@tor tool, the Dublin Core Set.
- Export the annotations in an XML file format and/or in a CSV spreadsheet
If the user wants to manipulate the annotation he has been making with the tool outside of it (for conducting new analysis with other tools, for instance), e-spect@tor enables him to extract all the data produced through the annotation process in XML and CSV format.
